About Us

The idea of starting Crete & Wax Candle Company started as a challenge from my wife.  She is always buying candles and one day I told her, "It'd be cheaper if we just made them ourselves". 

She said, "Well....do it!". 

So we didn't just want to do plain glass candle vessels. Everyone and their brother are selling those. Being we have access to quite a bit of concrete, we decided to make unique concrete vessels that would not only smell wonderful, but be a work of art on their own. But we understand not everyone likes concrete candles, (as beautiful as they are), so we will are offering candles in glass jars as well. 

We never knew how fun and challenging it could be working together and making these candles. It is very satisfying knowing we make a quality product with our own two hands.

We use the highest quality cements to make our candle jars and each is made with the utmost attention to detail. If you are not completely satisfied...please let us know! Our goal is to offer the highest quality unique product at a most affordable price.

Being each unit is made by us, there may be slight differences between online photos and what you actually receive. Each unit is unique. Slight blemishes or crooked labels will not diminish the quality of the fragrance or use.
